Cubitt appoints Hendrie to retail IR post

Cubitt Consulting has poached MacMaster & Com- pany investor relations director Kirsten Hendrie to plug the gap left by the sudden departure of head of retail IR Ramona Tipnis last month (PRWeek, 18 June).

Hendrie quit the five-strong IR shop at the beginning of this month and is preparing to join Cubitt in August.

As a director she will report to Cubitt partner and co-founder Noga Villalón.

Formerly a corporate broker in the equity sales division of Swiss investment bank the then UBS Warburg, Hendrie joined MacMaster at its inception in 1999 and is a shareholder in the firm.

While she was at MacMaster, Hendrie worked on IR for the firm’s main clients, which include Nestlé, Mann Group, Bradford & Bingley and Allied Domecq.

Founder Kirsty MacMaster said the company had not yet found a replacement for Hendrie.

Tipnis, who was previously at Saracen Investment Management, left Cubitt to work at Clear Capital as a research analyst.
