Hendrie quit the five-strong IR shop at the beginning of this month and is preparing to join Cubitt in August.
As a director she will report to Cubitt partner and co-founder Noga Villalón.
Formerly a corporate broker in the equity sales division of Swiss investment bank the then UBS Warburg, Hendrie joined MacMaster at its inception in 1999 and is a shareholder in the firm.
While she was at MacMaster, Hendrie worked on IR for the firm’s main clients, which include Nestlé, Mann Group, Bradford & Bingley and Allied Domecq.
Founder Kirsty MacMaster said the company had not yet found a replacement for Hendrie.
Tipnis, who was previously at Saracen Investment Management, left Cubitt to work at Clear Capital as a research analyst.
