IT firm Ramsac in anti-porn drive

IT consultancy Ramsac has hired Marketing Communications Company (MCC) to raise its profile as a firm that can enable businesses wanting to clamp down on employees surfing pornography websites at work.

MCC aims to position Ramsac as an authority on leading IT issues that affect businesses in the management and IT sector press.

Business correspondents, specialist IT websites and the IT sections of national newspapers are being targeted with information about the firm, which advises companies on strategic planning and technology policies.

‘Theoretically, company directors can go to jail for not stopping employees downloading and storing illegal images on their IT systems,’ said MCC account director Paul Wooding, who is leading the account.
