Fortnum & Mason enlists QBO

The London department store that famously provides the Queen with her annual supply of Christmas puddings, Fortnum & Mason, has hired QBO Bell Pottinger to handle its retail and brand PR.

QBO takes responsibility for media relations and event promotions, reporting to Fortnum & Mason marketing controller Yvonne Isherwood.She said QBO would be tasked with positioning Fortnum & Mason as ‘a purveyor of the very best’.The appointment ends Neville McCarthy’s three-year hold on the account. Fortnum & Mason is to make its first appearance overseas with the opening of a concession in Japan in October.
