Spy boosts PR for Mr & Mrs Smith

Spy Publishing is to increase the media target for the second edition of its Mr & Mrs Smith: European Cities hotel guide with the release of its own music compilation.

The Mr & Mrs Smith: Something for the Weekend CD will build the brand as it pushes into lifestyle pages, according to Divya Kohli, account manager at Jori White PR, which is handling the launch.

She added that Spy aims to improve its coverage in men’s magazines following the success of the first edition, which sold 28,000 copies.

A summer PR campaign previews the November launch, promoting the creators of Mr & Mrs Smith through programmes such as Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and BBC Two’s Working Lunch.
