City & Corporate: IPT in PR drive as flotation nears

Email marketing company Interactive Prospect Targeting is to launch a PR blitz next week as it prepares to list on the AIM in July.

IPT has hired Binns & Co to launch the financial comms campaign, which is scheduled to start next week.

IPT was set up in 2000 by CEO Lionel Thain, who pioneered opt-in email marketing in the UK, whereby customers agree to put their details on databases.

It hopes to raise £5m from the float, and broker Canaccord Capital has estimated its potential market value at between £20m and £30m.
