Business Link for London reappoints PR agencies

Business Link for London, the small business and support service for the capital, has reappointed GCI London and London Communications Agency to its PR account with an additional public affairs remit.

The PA requirement has arisen following Chancellor Gordon Brown’s declaration in his March budget that business support needs to be managed and delivered through regional development agencies.

This could lead to Business Links around the country all being funded regionally, rather than centrally through the DTI as they are currently. The task includes monitoring government changes and liaising with the London Development Agency and the Greater London Authority.

GCI London director Rhodri Harries heads a team of five on the account that includes London Communications Agency founder Robert Gordon Clark.
