Scott will have overall responsibility for Fujitsu Siemens’s incumbent agencies, Firefly Communications and Four Communications, and is evaluating their performance.
He said: ‘We have a substantial six-figure PR spend and we intend to make sure we are getting value for that spend and that our strategies are working.’
He added that he had already changed the structure of how the agencies work with the company.
The move comes as Fujitsu Siemens prepares to expand its marketing department over the next two months, with three product managers and three marketing assistants, following the recent promotion of Andy Barker to head of marketing operations.
Scott will report to Barker in his new role.
