The National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (NACC) is using
retained agency Healthcare Solutions to handle a PR drive to accompany Colitis and Crohn’s Week 2004, which gets under way this weekend and runs until 27 June.
The PR push will involve the promotion of a poll of 5,000 NACC members on the severity of the pain they experience.
Grant, who suffers from Crohn’s disease, will launch a sponsored walk along the Thames on 27 June.
Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease are lifelong conditions that are often first diagnosed in teenagers and young adults.
