The public affairs and PR consultancy, which has traditionally prided itself on a flat structure composed of partners and consultants, has created the intermediate position of associate partner. Three LP consultants are promoted to this new rank - Susie Winter, Jo Bird and Gina Coladangelo.
Two new consultants have also been hired, with Aideen Lee arriving from the Environment Agency and Matt Hughes from DEFRA.
And in another move Ben Rich and Simon Whale are to join the board, which handles corporate governance issues.
LP's biggest day-to-day clients include Wrigley and The Energy Savings Trust. Recent wins include the South London Partnership, which exists to advance the case for a dramatic expansion of tram links. It also secured reappointment to The Alliance Against Counterfeiting and Piracy following a competitive pitch.
A major coup in 2003 was appointment of former head of the Government and Information Communications Service Mike Granatt and ex- Britain in Europe director Simon Buckby as partners. Founding partners were George Pitcher and Charles Stewart-Smith.
