Slice to plug Superset

Slice PR is promoting Superset, a one-day tennis and music extravaganza devised to broaden the sport's appeal in a similar way to how the Twenty20 competition roused cricket last year.

John McEnroe has signed up for the tournament that encourages players to argue line calls. Seven leading players of the modern game, including Tim Henman, Andre Agassi and Greg Rusedski, will also compete for the £250,000 prize in a one-set knockout format.

Superset combines DJs, performances and light shows with tennis. The PR campaign's focus will extend beyond the sports pages into music, entertainment and technology editorial, with a core target of 18 to 35-year-olds. Wembley Arena hosts the 3 October event, which follows its debut last November in Portland, US.
