CSR: BSkyB head of corporate responsibility Ben Stimson has been appointed chairman of the Corporate Responsibility Group, an organisation of 71 companies. Stimson replaced Whitbread community investment director Jerry Marston in the role.

REAL ALE CAMPAIGN: The Campaign for Real Ale has appointed Mike Benner, formerly head of campaigns and comms, to the newly created role of chief executive.

B2B PR: Nordic telecoms firm Telenor has appointed the Swedish branch of Bite Communications to an £80,000 account in a bid to raise its profile in the country.

AGENCY RESTRUCTURE: Fuse PR has converted to a limited liability partnership. Jay O’Connor is the 11-strong agency’s managing partner, with Philip Sheldrake also taking a partnership.

TECH PR: Dilithium Networks, a US provider of mobile networking solutions, has drafted in Brodeur Worldwide as its first European PR agency.

CONSUMER PR: Joe Public Relations has decided not to repitch for the eBay consumer PR account, which was put up for review in April. The agency will end its three and a half years’ work on the brand in August.

INVESTOR RELATIONS: French telecoms software firm BVRP has hired MJ2 to handle UK investor relations and PR. MJ2 managing director Christopher Joll is leading the team.

B2B PR: Marketing agency The Campaign Works has appointed Storm Comms to build its profile in the hospitality sector. Storm director Amanda Williams leads a three-strong team, reporting to The Campaign Works MD Rob Conway.

CLARIFICATION: Eperon Consulting MD Alastair Eperon’s latest venture is called OFRsolutions and not OFR Consulting, as stated last week.
