Diary: Wine-tasting event pulls in the punters

PRWeek - usually, as a rule, a shandy drinker - can now confidently distinguish between a Chablis and an Orvieto after indulging at a wine-tasting competition organised by healthcare PR agency Biosector2.

The event, funded by Danish firm Novo Nordisk, saw around 20 thirsty hacks and agency staffers convening in the City to attempt to identify wines by taste and smell.

The team in which PRWeek was placed finished second overall - not bad given that our main contribution was to swill, sniff, sip and nod knowingly before confidently stating 'definitely French' on every second glass.
