Inforpress restructures into three divisions

Madrid: Spanish PR firm Inforpress has restructured its business into three operating divisions: Consultancy, Internal Relations/Corporate Social Responsibility, and Training.

According to the agency’s president and founder Nuria Vilanova, the reshuffle was necessary to ‘bring together a growing number of specialist professionals into more specific business areas.’

The agency recently appointed Farnando Sainz, formerly of the financial newspaper Expansion, to co-direct the PR Consultancy arm alongside Asuncion Soriano in Madrid. Isabel Grifoll and Merce Ribera will co-manage the unit, which has 55 employees, from Barcelona.

Antonio Rodrigo oversees the eight-strong internal relations/CSR team, while Maria Luisa Alonso will manage the Training team of five.

Vilanova said the agency hopes to add at least ten staff this year, the majority of whom will be retained by the fast-growing internal relations/CSR unit.
