Incumbent agency Flagship Consulting was appointed on an 18-month contract that is now up for review. The company will reapply for the account.
The committee, which was set up in 1997 to advise the Government on regulation, is looking for an agency to handle its entire media work.
The successful agency will be tasked with managing the launch of six reports a year, including an annual report, as well as work around two conferences, securing speaking opportunities for the chair and members.
It will also be charged with identifying media opportunities for the committee, as well as media monitoring.
Bids for the two-year contract must be in by 5 July.
Flagship was the first agency to work for the committee. Account director Sue Youngman said the committee took it on initially because it felt its success was not being communicated. ‘We have enjoyed working for them and look forward to continue doing so if our bid is successful,’ she said.
The committee, whose chairman is David Arculus, identifies areas where regulation could be improved.
