Hansard selects WS for exhibition

The Hansard Society has enlisted Weber Shandwick for a pro-bono publicity campaign for its 60th anniversary exhibition of the future of parliament in the UK.

The six-week exhibition, Parliament For the Future, opens on 12 July at Westminster Hall in the Houses of Parliament.

The aim of the exhibition, according to WS chairman of public affairs Wilf Weeks – who is also treasurer of The Hansard Society – is to ‘stimulate debate about the relevance of Parliament and how it can become more engaged with the electorate’.

The exhibition will take place only a month after the European Election on 10 June, which the society expects will focus debate on public engagement in functioning democracies.
