Intempo targets women’s press

Intempo Digital is gearing up for a push into the women’s press for the launch of its portable digital radio range.

Victoria McQuade, co-founder of Big-mouths PR, which has been hired by Intempo, said bumper Christmas sales of digital radios were fuelled by coverage in national newspapers, but the pink KT-01 and grey KTB-01 products would attract lifestyle magazines.

‘Women’s magazines are becoming more open to writing about technology, so the media target will be everything from CosmoGIRL! to Good Housekeeping, as well as T3 to GQ,’ she said.
