Grant Riches wins Redbridge brief

The London Borough of Redbridge Council has appointed Grant Riches Communications Consultants to help develop a new identity.

It has hired the agency for a four-month period on the ‘defining Redbridge’ project. The public sector specialist beat seven other agencies to land the account.

Grant Riches director Karen Riches said: ‘Redbridge is looking to match its ambitious approach with a strong vision and image that promotes the borough as well as the council.

‘The project will include work on clarifying the council’s vision and key messages, and the development of a new corporate identity.’

Grant Riches has been charged with updating Redbridge’s image to promote it as a vibrant and ethnically diverse area.

The project aims to address the findings of a 2002 Mori survey which identified that 56 per cent of Redbridge residents feel uninformed about the council and its services and benefits.
