VP Joel Perez will co-ordinate the account from the agency's Miami headquarters, and will work with a team of five, including Jackie Kates, also in Miami, and two staff each in Sao Paulo and Mexico City.
According to Ediana Balleroni, general director of TJG Brazil, the focus will be on media relations, but the agency will also provide media training to Western Digital's sales representatives the two countries, as well as handling the production of events and print material.
The team will report to Ron Pack, Western Digital's senior sales director for Latin America. Western Digital, a world leader in the manufacture of hard drives is based in California. It does not have offices in Latin America, and markets its products via a network of retailers.
Founded in 1993, TJG has 50 staff across its Miami, Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Buenos Aires offices. It operates in other Latin American markets through local partners.
