Science Museum appoints Herald

The Science Museum has hired Herald Communications to promote its Imax cinema following a five-way pitch.

Herald pitched against Bite Communications, Frank PR, Fuse PR and Fishburn Hedges.

The museum received 35 expressions of interest and 17 campaign outlines for the account (PRWeek, 26 March).

The remit for the three-month project consists of a media relations campaign targeting news, technology and education journalists in national and regional media, as well as the specialist education press.

‘We came up with ideas that utilised the resources the Science Museum already has,’ said Herald MD Annalise Coady, who will lead the account, reporting to press exec Kirsten Harvey.
