Kids’ charity Plan on UK media drive

International children’s development charity Plan is embarking on a UK-wide campaign to raise its profile with the press as it prepares to publish a report on the role of children in 45 of the world’s poorest countries, in advancing their nations’ development.

Plan is launching the report at the opening of an exhibit at the House of Commons on 8 June that showcases photographs of its health programme development work with children.

National broadcast and print media are also being targeted with information about Plan’s gala fundraising event on 17 May, a musical inspired by producer Jan Ryan’s sponsorship of a Haiti child through the charity.
