Prudential gives F-H consumer job

Prudential General Insurance has appointed Fleishman-Hillard to drive forward its consumer coverage for its motor, household and travel insurance ranges.

F-H won the newly created account, which is believed to be worth around £60,000, in a head-to-head battle with Lexis PR. The F-H team, led by Louisa Jenkins, will report to Prudential PR manager Philip Southgate.

‘We have hired F-H to bring a spark to the not naturally very sexy subject of insurance,’ said Southgate, who added that PR for Prudential’s life and pensions schemes will continue to be handled in-house.

F-H was recently appointed to handle the Sustainable Mobility Project of NGO World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
