Red Door Communications won a three-way pitch to handle the remit, which will see the agency target patient groups and genito-urinary and HIV consultants.
The agency had not worked with GSK, whose HIV portfolio includes Ziagen, Trizivir, Epivir and Combivir.
Red Door is promoting a GSK symposium on managing HIV as a chronic condition at the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) spring meeting in Bath next month, which will be attended by GU clinicians, HIV physicians and sexual health nurses.
Red Door is also aiming to promote ‘virtual meetings, likely to [necessitate] HIV clinicians dialing in to listen to a presentation by key opinion-leaders,’ said associate director Catherine Devaney.
