Apcom boosts theatrical arts

MOSCOW: The Centre for Applied Communications (www.apcom.ru) is providing publicity and PR support for Andrei Konchalovsky’s production of Chekhov's “The Seagull”. The production is being created with support from Bosco di Ciliegi and the Russian State Theatre Agency, and it will be shown to the Moscow public for the first time on 14th May as part of Bosco di Ciliegi’s annual Cherry Forest festival. The production is being staged at the Mossovet Theatre.

Together with the Bosco di Ciliegi PR department, the Centre for Applied Communications is running a wide-ranging PR campaign, featuring interviews with producer, composer, and actors, and features and reports in various media.

Apscom has also developed a communications strategy for the final third of the 2003/2004 season at the Bolshoi Theatre.
