NCSL to ramp up media presence

The National College for School Leadership (NCSL) is set to increase its presence in regional media ahead of the launch of nine affiliated regional training centres, and has bulked up its media relations team with the appointment of Boots PR manager Priscilla Paradise.

The organisation was set up in 2000 by the Department for Education and Skills and provides training for headteachers and department heads. It also promotes research and collaboration between schools. The centres are to open in the next two months.

Paradise joins as one of three media relations managers, reporting to director of marketing and communications Peter Berry.
