CONSUMER PR: Cake has been re-appointed by Danone Waters after a competitive pitch to promote Evian in the UK. The agency will handle media relations and product placement, and reports to senior brand manager Nick Brock.

YOUTH PR: Youth PR specialist Slice is on the hunt for a head of new business. The recruitment search follows the exit of Phil Strachan, who formerly worked for the agency on a part-time freelance basis.

TRADE AND CITY PR: Engineering consultancy Babtie has split its £85,000 PR account between The Big Partnership and Cubitt Consulting following a pitch against incumbent Weber Shandwick, Binns & Co and hatch-group. Big is handling regional and trade press, while Cubitt will raise the company’s City profile.

MEDIA RELATIONS: Fox-owned TV channel FX 289 is to launch a promotional drive via PR agency Resonate to promote its series Playmakers in the UK in June. Resonate will use guerrilla marketing and media relations to promote the series, which features a fictional American football team.

CONSUMER PR: Luchford APM is to launch a PR drive to promote internationally renowned hairdresser Mark Hill. The agency plans to build Hill’s personal profile, and is also handling marketing and branding.

CONSUMER PR: Heineken is on the hunt for national newspaper and trade press partners to help give away tickets to the Heineken Cup Final at Twickenham on 23 May. PR agency Salt, which picked up the account in January, is handling the promotions.
