Body Shop’s Amos quits after 15 years

The Body Shop’s head of corporate responsibility Nicky Amos is quitting the company after 15 years to join CSR consultancy Corporate Culture. Amos leaves the health and beauty retailer – renowned for marketing itself on its ethical policies – at the end of April.

While corporate responsibility is woven into many job descriptions at The Body Shop, particularly with its ethical trade managers, Amos’s role has focused on driving its policy and strategy.

She joined The Body Shop 15 years ago as an internal comms manager before moving into a CSR position.

At Corporate Culture, Amos will act as a project director helping to implement CSR strategies for clients including BNFL, Camelot and EDF Energy.

The Body Shop is understood to have lined up a replacement who will be joining in June. The person will report to head of the Values department, Steve Mcivor.
