Former Saracen Investment Management senior analyst Ramona Tipnis has joined the firm to replace Scott, who is on gardening leave until the end of the month.
Cubitt has also hired former Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein director of capital markets Tomoko Shigiya-Minter as director and head of Asian IR services. Cubitt acquired the business of IR consultancy Moko Enterprises, which Shigiya-Minter ran for four years, picking up client GlaxoSmithKline.
Shigiya-Minter and Tipnis will work under Cubitt head of IR and founding partner Noga Villalon.
Last month, Cubitt formed a strategic joint venture with IR and corporate governance consultancy EquityCulture, whose founder and director David Mensley has been appointed chairman of Cubitt EquityCulture.
Mensley was formerly head of the Midlands and Western region of the London Stock Exchange.
Cubitt EquityCulture handles investor relations for Severn Trent Water and BAE Systems.
