The aim of the PR group, which owns Zanders in Germany, is to raise awareness of the M-Real brand, especially in the financial press. The likely focus for the PR campaign will be giant printing and paper fair DRUPA, which takes place in Düsseldorf in May.
Wichmann has also won work from Shimano Europe, a maker of bicycle components and fishing reels and rods, to handle a product launch in the premium sector of the bicycle market. The PR campaign is set to start in Germany at the end of the month. As well as media relations aimed at the appropriate special interest sector, this will also include cooperation with lifestyle titles and nationwide press work.
