The company has hired the consumer and tech firm to promote 2.1 Enterprise at trade events and to IT journalists. The account is understood to be worth up to £70,000 a year.
Mantra is also charged with raising Prevx’s profile with financial analysts.
Business development director Ben Hayman said unlike conventional anti-virus packages, 2.1 Enterprise targets attacks on systems by monitoring the procedures used by hackers.
‘Zero-day attacks – first-time hacker or virus attacks – can cause a lot of damage before anyone knows how to deal with them. This software looks for key patterns in the way an attack takes place,’ said Hayman.
