East Riding set to expand PR team

East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s comms team is to expand following a review by external agency DTW. The two extra posts will take the team to 19.

Acting head of comms, assistant chief executive Andrew Millner, is using DTW for press management support.

Following the department review, the team has been divided into promotions, press, editorial and design. It is understood that DTW will cease to provide support when a new head is hired.

Former communications chief Carole Lamb left her post after six weeks last August but re-emerged as head of communications for Knowsley in January (PRWeek, 16 January).
