Maharajh named London First chief

Business group London First has named Julia Maharajh as director of campaigns and comms, replacing comms director and ex-ITV Digital PR chief Andrew Marre, who has quit after a year in the post.

‘I am delighted to take on this role in the crucial run-up to the mayoral and general elections, when London needs to be presented as a world class capital to gain investment,’ said Maharajh.

Maharajh previously worked as a PR manager and campaigns manager within the organisation, which engages businesses in promoting the capital, before becoming director of transport.
