Birmingham PRO takes Notts role

Marketing Birmingham’s head of communications is to follow in her boss’s footsteps and join Experience Nottingham in the same role.

Nicola Poultney will leave her post next week to join the organisation that promotes Nottingham as a business and leisure destination.

Her departure treads the same track as former chief executive of Marketing Birmingham, Dr John Heeley, who jumped ship to Experience Nottingham last year and now heads up the organisation.

During her 14 months at Marketing Birmingham Poultney was involved with staging the 2003 World Indoor Championships in Athletics, the Bullring opening and the ITMA exhibition.
