Stonehenge wins MHRA PR overhaul

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) – the body that regulates clinical trials and grants licences to drugs – is set for a PR overhaul.

Stonehenge Public Relations is handling a three-month comms review with the aim of establishing a stronger brand and image for the body, and developing its own PR function.

The MHRA, an executive agency of the Department of Health, replaced the Medical Devices Agency and the Medicines Control Agency last April.

Stonehenge, the agency co-managed by former GlaxoSmithKline global corporate affairs chief Geoff Potter, reports to the MHRA executive board.

The MHRA press team is likely to relocate from the DoH to the MHRA’s offices in Vauxhall.
