IPRA announces 2004 Golden World Awards

The International Public Relations Association has announced a call for entries to the 2004 Golden World Awards.

The competition, now in its 14th year, is open to PR campaigns completed in 2003/2004 at local, national or international level. Campaigns in 23 categories will be judged on the basis of competence in opportunity, research, planning, execution and evaluation. Special awards will include the United Nations Award, which recognises campaigns with a social purpose, the FrontLine Award, for new PR organisations in developing markets and the IPRA Grand Prize for Excellence.

Entries will be judged by an international panel of senior practitioners under the chairmanship of Lou Capozzi, CEO of Manning, Selvage and Lee, and the awards will be presented presented at a gala ceremony towards the end of 2004.
