Learning councils North West pitch

Learning and Skills Councils across the North West of England have kicked off a hunt for PR agencies to support a raft of local level campaigning work over the next three to five years.

Offices in Cheshire and Warrington, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Greater Merseyside and Lancashire are the latest of the workforce training body to set up a regional communications roster.

Agencies with expertise in B2B PR, campaign management, corporate communications, e-marketing and youth and consumer PR are sought.

In similar moves last autumn, offices in London looked to set up a roster to cover the capital’s five areas, as did the West Midlands (PRWeek, 31 October 2003).

LSCs were set up three years ago and replaced Training and Enterprise Councils.
