Archer speaks to non-profit PROs

Disgraced Tory peer Jeffrey Archer is to speak at an event next month about the role celebrities can play in helping charities’ PR campaigning.

The author, who was released from prison last July after serving two years for perjury, is to speak at an event organised by voluntary sector networking group Charity 2000.

No stranger to charity work, Archer was most recently involved with the Howard League for Penal Reform, and spoke at one of its events late last year.

At the lunchtime event, which takes place on 4 February at the Royal Institute of Public Health in London, those present will also have the chance to put their questions to Archer.
