DIARY: Himler's 'adjustment' falls on B-M's US staff
PROs often have to put a positive spin on job losses, but rarely do they wriggle quite as much as Burson-Marsteller's US spokesman, Peter Himler, when asked by PRWeek US to explain the axeing of 'more than a dozen' staff Stateside. Himler told our US sister title that he 'would characterise it not as lay-offs, but more of an adjustment'. 'We looked at our skill sets and readjusted so we could enter the new year in a strong way,' he added. Peter, take a bow.
