MEDIA BRIEF: Thomas editor of BBC Easy Gardening

EASY GARDENING: Ceri Thomas is to be editor of BBC Easy Gardening from next month. Editor of the BBC's gardening web site for the last two years, she will oversee seven issues of the new magazine in 2004. Thomas is the first dedicated editor of the magazine, which was launched as a one-off aimed at beginners, in 2002 and has appeared three times since. She started her career on Emap's Practical Gardening, before joining BBC Gardeners' World.
