According to Brazen account director Lisa Baker, the agency's office has been 'like a Top of the Pops studio', overrun with Michael Jackson, Dexy's Midnight Runners and Beyonce lookalikes. The list represents the station's brand of music - '80s, 90s and now'.
The agency, which has hired 15 pop star lookalikes to scour hair salons and supermarkets for potential 'hairbrush divas', said it had already found one.
Apparently, as the lookalikes entered a Manchester salon, a male stylist grabbed a hairbrush to belt out a rendition of Otis Redding's (Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay. Passers-by stopped to admire the stylist, who admittedly had already been a Pop Idol candidate.
