Former PwC boss takes fresh role as FD vice-chairman

Financial Dynamics (FD) has appointed former PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) comms chief Jeremy Wyatt as the first vice-chairman in what may become a raft of heavyweight appointnents.

Wyatt, who last month retired from international consulting firm PwC after spending seven years as director of European communications (PRWeek, 24 October), has taken up the new position reporting to FD chief executive Charles Watson.

Wyatt will advise FD management over boosting the firm’s international presence, attracting more business and will also act as counsel to senior clients. FD has offices in Athens, Bahrain, Boston, Dublin, Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, New York, San Francisco and Stockholm.

‘I would not preclude the possibility of appointing more [vice-chairmen], but no one has been earmarked at this stage,’ Watson said.

While at PwC, Wyatt was re co-ordinated the consulting firm’s PR across Europe, and over the last year had additionally taken on responsibility for UK corporate affairs.
