Watson, formerly consumer communications manager at AOL UK, launched Golden Goose a month ago with Wood, an ex-Braben Company senior consultant and wife of Joe Public Relations managing director Matthew Wood.
Despite the break in the stoppage called by Royal Mail workers last week, Watson and Wood are pressing ahead with their plan to personally deliver 1,500 invitations to a party celebrating the revamp of Golden Goose's nightclub client, The Grand in Clapham.
Watson and Wood plan to drag Golden Goose-branded trolleys packed with invitations around west London between five and six before whizzing back to SW17. Royal Mail chief executive Adam Crozier should take note.
