MEDIA BRIEF: FT.com launches news alert service

FT.COM: Financial Times website FT.com is launching a news alert service based on key words chosen by subscribers. Emails on a company, business sector or individual that users have signed up to will be sent as news breaks. FT.com's two tiers of subscription now include email alerts, specialist analysis, a global media monitor and data on 18,000 companies worldwide.
