MEDIA BRIEF: EducationGuardian to be redesigned

THE GUARDIAN: EducationGuardian, the Tuesday G3 supplement of The Guardian, is to be redesigned from next week. Education editor Will Woodward says the new-look section will provide better-targeted help for teachers and give more prominence to coverage of higher and further education. Meanwhile, Lucy Ward has returned from maternity leave to cover education for the main paper, along with education correspondent Rebecca Smithers. Wednesday's SocietyGuardian was redesigned earlier this year, overseen by G3 editor Janine Gibson.
