MEDIA BRIEF: McLean Guardian TV editor
THE GUARDIAN: Gareth McLean has been promoted to TV editor of The Guardian, co-ordinating TV coverage across the daily G2 section. He joined the paper in 2000 as a TV writer. Elsewhere, Angelique Chrisafis has been made The Guardian's Ireland correspondent, replacing Rosie Cowan, who is now crime correspondent. Chrisafis formerly worked on the arts and news desks of the paper. Meanwhile, arts editor Dan Glaister has been made Los Angeles correspondent. He replaces Duncan Campbell, who has returned to London.
