Borkowski to lead PR for Selfridges’ ‘Brasil 400’ event

Department store chain Selfridges has announced details of its next annual promotional theme event, called Brasil 40º, which will focus on the culture of the South American country.

The event, to take place from 3 to 31 May next year, will be handled by Borkowski PR, which handled this year’s Body Craze event.

The agency will work alongside Selfridges’ retained PR agency, Camron PR, according to Selfridges head of PR Emily Owen.

Asked whether other agencies could also be hired to work on the promotion, Owen said: ‘Other appointments are possible, but it is early days’.

The account, which was won without a pitch, sees Borkowski secure ‘lead agency’ status.

Selfridges’ stores in Manchester and Birmingham will also be involved in Brasil 40º.
