The Feria de Valencia tasked Gavin Anderson following the firm’s successful work for last year’s fair, according to account director Ines Ruiz de Arana.
De Arana will work with a three-strong team to promote the event, reporting to client marketing directors Angel Navarro and Luis Gamon. The fair hopes to surpass last year’s attendance and expand the number of discussion topics.
Last year the fair gathered 5,000 visitors including 250 non-for-profit firms and about 30 companies, mostly Spanish corporate heavyweights such as Telefonica and big banks Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria and Santander Central Hispano.
Discussion focused on several corporate responsibility and community-involvement themes such as labour insertion and immigration, De Aranas said.
