PRCA announces contenders for its Frontline Awards

Four young PROs have been shortlisted for this year’s PRCA Frontline Awards Best Young Professional accolade.

The four finalists are: Countrywide Porter Novelli consultant Nikki Barber, Lansons Communications partner and account director Richard Winder, Miller Shandwick/ Weber Shandwick account manager Tom Glover, and PPS Group account manager Sharon Ward. All are aged under 30.

Launched two years ago, the PRCA Frontline Awards are aimed at recognising young achievers in PR consultancy.

There are also four newly created categories this year: Best Public Affairs Campaign, Best Crisis Communications Campaign, Best Use of Sponsorship and Best Environmental Campaign.

Staniforth Communications, Portfolio Communications, McCann Erickson and Roger Staton Associates are going head to head in the Best B2B Campaign category, while the Best Consumer Campaign is a four-way contest between Lansons Communications, Countrywide Porter Novelli, GCI and Harrison Cowley.

The total shortlist contains 71 hopefuls that were drawn from a total 208 entries, with winners to be announced on 23 September.
