H&K director quits for health PA role at Media Strategy

Hill & Knowlton UK board director Sarah Richards has quit to join corporate and government relations agency Media Strategy as an associate director. Richards is the third senior executive to leave the WPP-owned firm in recent weeks.

Deputy CEO John Rivett and EMEA vice-president of marketing and business development Dominic Shales are serving notice periods before co-launching their own firm (PRWeek, 3 September).

Richards will report to Media Strategy MD Charles Lewington, working mainly for its healthcare clients, including charity Cholesterol UK, Capio Healthcare UK, Unilever and recruitment agency TMP Worldwide.

On her reasons for leaving H&K, Richards said: ‘I have had the experience of working in a big agency and it’s very exciting, but in a smaller consultancy, especially in public affairs, clients get access to quality advice without all the red tape getting in the way.’
