Bolland’s agency to set up division for consumer PR

The Prince of Wales’s former press aide Mark Bolland is to set up a consumer PR division of his agency Mark Bolland & Associates, which launched last year.

Bolland, who resigned from his St James’s Palace post as Prince Charles’s deputy private secretary in February last year (PRWeek, 15 February 2002), will launch the division next month.

He confirmed that this will be headed by former Good Relations account manager Sarah Myler, who joins at the end of September.

The setting up of the division follows a move by Bolland into advertising last month, when he teamed up with former J Walter Thompson group account director Spencer Fox to form a separate company called Axis Advertising and Marketing.

Bolland and Fox each have 50 per cent ownership of the firm that will work alongside Mark Bolland &Associates.

Bolland told PRWeek that his aim was ‘to offer full-service marketing and advertising consultancy.’
