Coffee Day has taken on Madison PR after a competitive pitch to promote the brand across its four business divisions, which include Café Coffee Day, India’s largest retail chain of coffee shops with 113 outlets nationwide.
The agency will also promote the firm’s own-grown coffee beans and ground coffee brands, coffee dispensing machines, and Coffee Day Xpress, its chain of coffee snack stops.
Madison PR chief operating officer Veena Gidwani heads the account team.
Café Coffee Day has local rivals such as Barista and Qwiky’s, and Gidwani said: ‘It’s getting more competitive, so the challenge lies in establishing key differences’.
